The hand forged difference

Our Team
We craft heirloom pieces that you can one day pass on to the next generation.
Our team of blacksmiths have been forging woks for decades. They learned the craft from their fathers and have dedicated their lives to honing their skills.
Our promise
We only sell genuine hand-forged cookware.
Ever since Zhang Qiu Woks were featured on Bite of China, demand grew to new heights. Dozens of people took advantage of this by selling fake Zhang Qiu woks; negatively affecting the reputation and disrespecting the traditional craft that has been passed down for generations.
Frequently asked questions
What makes Oxenforge woks special?
What makes Oxenforge woks special?
- We use thick steel that allows our woks to retain more heat than the common wok.
- Oxenforge woks are forged from a single piece of steel, which means the handle is not attached with rivets or welds. Most cookware usually deteriorate where the handle is attached because rivets get loose and welds can snap if not done right.
- Oxenforge woks are blued before they are sent to you. This step helps create a protective barrier against rust.
