CARE AND MAINTENANCE
It is recommended to hand-wash these wooden utensils.
Dishwasher detergents will dry out the natural oils in the wood and will make it prone to cracking.
Along with my 32cm Oxenforge round wok, I recently purchased the bamboo spatula. It is a very simple tool but I can tell this is of the highest quality.
I’ve used it probably 20-25 times since receiving my wok and this thing is indestructible! I use it to cook of course, and I like the fact it will never scratch the steel surface, but it also does a GREAT job scraping off hard/burned food that tends to stick to the wok. This takes a lot of pressure at times, and I was concerned I might break or chip off the spatula’s leading edge.. but it has stayed true and rock solid.
